Everyone seems frightened of me today. I don't know why.

I got caught listening to music this morning on the wireless. For the first time, I thought I actually heard it. It was very curious. And now I sound stupid.

Break is almost over. One more semester left. I wanted to be a healer, but I think maybe I should be a teacher. Maybe if we ever open up the new school I can see if I can get a job there. Or perhaps I can train to be a healer then teach afterward.

I don't remember my dreams really. So I cannot share.

I saw LAN with Jing. She is very vibrant.

I did make some New Year's Resolutions. I will be a stronger person. And to get my first kiss

I just got an owl from my beloved Ge Ge. The Quidditch playing fool, not the talented healer. He's going to be here for Alumn Day and he told me that there will be a Chinese Wizard Journalist following him around. It is supposed to be some sort of piece linking his career to the strife that has been going on. The journalist may want to speak to Jing and I and some of the other Chinese Students. I expect Ge Ge wants to play on the Quidditch team as his usual position as Chaser. I apologize in advance for his big ego. He also said he's bringing his girlfriend. I am impressed though with the length of time he has managed to stay with this one.

Shu Shu should be here though! And that is a plus. I don't know if anyone else will be coming.

Tanaka-sensei and I are not on the best of terms now. We got into a heated debate about Japanese versus Chinese methods of healing. I'm sorry, Kyo-kun, that you had to hear it. I am just more well versed than a lot of girls my age in the healing arts. I've been mixing basic healing salves since I could reach the counter. I don't appreciate it when people assume I don't know what I'm talking about.

I am thinking about doing some extra sparring if someone needs a partner.

I'm afraid I still don't understand what everyone is celebrating today. And why is everyone talking about costumes? Is there anyone who is not dressing up?

First my issue with Jing Jing and now this. I feel very vulnerable right now. But the one involving Nakata... doesn't hurt as much as my issue with Jing is.

He called me pretty. He defended me against Nakashima. He said he liked my food. I'm lost for words except that it made me feel warm and fluttery. I really don't know what this feeling is.

I still plan on throttling Nakashima. Even if I'm not on good terms with Jing, that cow is going down hard.

I really... need to talk to Jing. I'm just no good at this sort of thing.

It is good the drama continues even when we're not at school. I've been lurking on journals. Mostly looking for Jing So with Yamasaki-kun, is it true... a strange muggle man came to visit you?

This is how it begins, Japan. Do not make the same mistakes. The weak are always going to try and sabotage the strong. I do not believe that muggles can work with wizards. There would be too much of an attempt to sabotage each other.

I've been doing a lot of reading recently. Mainly mysteries. I'm trying to keep myself from worrying.

I'm glad that our hard work was able to beat Amaterasu! Not that our opponants weren't worthy. They put up a good effort but seemed to lack a bit of inner rhythm. I guess that is because of a House of Leaders is likely to be like Too Many Cooks.

To celebrate, I am willing to cook the entire team a Cantonese meal.

My arm is sore. I think I may have swung a bit too hard today. It is worth it, though.

I feel like I don't update this journal enough. But I just don't feel my life is all that interesting to write about.

Vacation is coming up, something that I will be looking forward to. I don't know where Jing Jing and I will stay though. I have just owled Father, Uncle, and Big Brother to see how busy they are so they can come and visit. I'm still waiting a response.

Jing Jing is planning a beach party. I really need to find a bathing suit to wear. It's been a long time since I've gone to the beach.

Shojiai, I will visit over break to see how your progress is going again. I hope this doesn't inconvenience you. And I'll try not to bruise you too much this weekend.

Well, it's good to know that Ge Ge has finally stopped sleeping around with wireless stars and common whores and has moved up to someone as easy... I mean, as respected as Watanabe Saki. Really, it is a match made in heaven.

I read an article today about the Japan's perspective on what is going on in China. I really urge everyone to learn from China's mistakes and nip it in the bud. Our school was destroyed because of a wizard with questionable loyalties. Muggles are by nature inferior different. They want what we have so will seek to dominate us. While I know we have magic they have things like guns and bombs and relatives who have magic. They want to use as as weapons against other muggle governments. When people are soft on the issue, we are one step closer to being enslaved.

In other news, my gingerbread pagoda should have won.
